I'm new to the whole PUA community and have been reading a few books and plan on reading a bit more. I need some advise with what happened to me last night and quite often.

Field report:
SO last night i was at a wedding and having a great time. I met this girl from columbia and was talking to her for a bit. After i realized i was getting bored i started to hang out with some other friends and just dance and have a fun time. Later in the night i pulled her onto the dance floor and she loved it. The attraction was strong, she was into me. Well anyways, i stopped dancing for one second and said hi to somebody close by and a kid i know started dancing with her. I was fine about it because i expected to get back right to where the attraction was. As i was about to take her back they started making out.

This has happened to me before and i dont want it happening again. any advise? should have i kissed her before i left? and if i get weirded out by kissing infront of all my family at a wedding what should i do?
