Hello,

I am Oakenshield, and I'm a third year college student currently in transition from going to UNC-Asheville to NC State. I dabble in a lot of different interests. I've done a lot with travelling and learning about different countries, and my friends have gotten me into activities like skiing, hiking, camping, learning music, and a long laundry list of other stuff.

PUA first came into my life by finding "The Game" in a bookstore, and the book became an interesting source for a seemingly endless list of life-questions. I felt like reading it made me think about life in a very different way and forced me to start living in a very different way as well. The topics that are tackled in these forums and in books like the game delve into a different sort of truth that, intentionally or not, the rest of the world just ignores.

I want to use the information and tactics that I learn for self-improvement, because I know that I can live through 20 years or 80 years and one of the recurring themes is that there will always be things that I can improve on.
