Well, I'm going to take the plunge, joint his forum and see what can turn up.

I'm a 20 year old guy from the Midlands, England. I've gone through sprees of relationships (7 in total in the past 5 years), the last and longest one being 2 years. Since ending that relationship, I've been completely put off getting back into a serious relationship, so it's time to start playing the field. Three months on from the breakup, however, nothing's happened so far.

So I took a gander through the forums here and this is probably the right place for me to be. I'm nervous, not gonna lie, as I live in a fairly average size town. My current goal is to undertake the Newbie Mission in Birmingham sometime soon, though I don't have anyone to bring along with me (thinking of chatting to the Birmingham lads over on the other board).

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm doing, and it'd be good to have a long chat with someone about what I'm nervous about, what I should be doing, saying, so on and so forth. I'm somewhat confident in my social abilities, but have a bad tendency to overthink what to say for one thing.

Still, let's see if I can stick around for a bit. I'm kind of excited and nervous about the whole thing, but, it's probably for the best, as even if I don't become a PUA, at least I'll gain some more confidence and social skills.
