I see my time slipping away and have been out of the game never really in it. I have a lot going for me. I'm fit, attractive... Ok, so I want to cure AA (approach anxiety). But the first thing I do is start trying to figure out the gorgeous lady's age so I can be appropriate. That delay stalls me. I don't want to be a perv. What's this older guy talking to this younger woman? Wolf! Wolf! I hear it all the time "I look younger than I am". Often that's BS. But I really do. I certainly don't look like a geezer. Help!

Let me add... I was happy married for many years. Now I find myself single. It happens. So I tried online. Forget it! I'm very good looking. I don't have a paunch or any old guy stuff, but younger women avoid me like the plague because I'm honest about my age. A lot of people aren't. A lot of WOMEN aren't. So I must turn to offline and get my butt in gear. I can tell you a lot of women older than me come after me. But they haven't kept up with their looks or they don't look good to begin with. Some of them... I can't believe they think I'd actually be interested. Online is definitely AFC territory for me.

Hi, and welcome to the community. The expression 'better late than never' cannot be used in your situation- Age really is just a number when it comes to gaming.

Its true that some older women haven't kept up with their appearance as much as you claim to have kept up with yours. However, that doesn't make them less of a person (I know you weren't being that harsh towards them like that) but older women will have much more life experience. And there are times when they can use that to their advantage. Knowledge is power, apparently.

It depends on the sort of age range your looking to dip into (That could be seen as a pun- if it is, then it's one of my favourites lol!) Are you looking to dip into 21-51? Or more 35-51/55 range?

How long have you tried online gaming for? And did it produce any good results amidst the few that you rejected?

If you use online game to a higher level, you could find that it can really work for you. However, as you explained your issues with age gaps, online simply will not work for you if your looking to get your tip wet in a gorgeous 21 year old. Online will always work for 35/40+, and if you can find someone of that age who you really like the look of... Aye, it could certainly work. Prowl the forums on this site, get as much knowledge from this community, we are always happy to help!
I mean I am certainly not classed as good looking. However using online game back in September, I was able to get three girlfriends at the same time. And maintain these relationships for a while, until my morals kicked in... So online can work.
