What up all, I'm Kynnx.

I'm new to the site and the concept of pickup artist. I won't lie and pretend I'm totally hopeless with women, because I've met my share, but with no doubt there is room for improvement. I'm kind of a hit or miss kind of guy. I think sometimes, because I'm so different than a lot of men, women don't know how to take me. Sometimes I come off as weird, because I'm too deep and intellectual. Other times I come of right. I guess it depends on the woman and how I'm vibing that day.

Needless to say, I'm want some advice on how I can improve my game. Approaching people is both a weak and strong point of mine. I have no qualms approaching anyone randomly and talking about anything; though, when I approach a woman to hit on her, there's like this quiet tension which causes me to gear up and talk fast. Either that or I'll directly walk up and compliment them, which is received a lot of ways. From the little I've read, and I bought a few books two days ago, just haven't had a chance to read them yet, I get that walking up and expressing direct interest isn't necessarily the best approach.

Today I was at an event and met a very beautiful woman, about 24 or 25, with a son who's about 4. That's a year younger than my daughter. We chatted a little, I asked her if she'd like to get up for a play date sometime and we ended up trading emails. She said her phone was messing up so it's easier to contact her that way, which makes me curious, but as I was entering her email address into my phone she corrected me to make sure I got the right one, which says something. She also told me she'd be at the same place tomorrow around 1 if I wanted to meet up, but I told her I had some plans with friends, which I do.

So... where to go from here if I want to seal the deal? Also she wasn't dismissive or trying to turn away from me, nor did she make any attempts to disengage. Ultimately it was me who walked away.

Any advice?
