I'm a 22 year old guy from London.

Started reading about pick up about 3 years ago and after reading the game I realized that some of the stuff I did normally were actual techniques.

I lurked and was going to join but then started going out with my ex for 2.5 years. Thought I'd get back into it now we're through and try and be active.

My internal game is solid and I've started looking at online game because I've got exams that will limit how much i can go out. But generally I need to work on opening which is just down to practice.

I like to play sports, hit the gym and try new things.

I guess you're right, guess my main focus needs to be working on situational openers.

My sense of humour is largely situation based and sometimes I hit gold but sometimes I really can't think.

Direct opening is fine but I feel it is less effective at creating attraction.

If you are having a hard time opening, try using opinion openers instead. Keep them short but make them interesting. I've found that its pretty difficult to come up with a situational opener that a girl hasn't already heard or that doesn't sound like you are hitting on her. Plus an opinion opener is BY FAR the easiest to transition from. Situational openers can just leave you standing there, twiddling your thumbs if it doesn't hit... I have been practicing PUA for over 4 years now and I STILL use opinion openers... Mostly because I am a pretty interesting guy and I have alot to talk about... But just like anyone, I really don't like rejection. If you use an opinion opener, there is little to no chance of rejection at all...

And direct openers suck in general unless MAYBE you are approaching a single set. And you don't see too many GOOD single sets....

Haha, yeah you're right. On a night out opinion openers are the way.

But seeing as I'm only running day game right now, going up to a girl and asking if she thinks 'a girl kissing a mate of mine who's in a relationship is cheating' seems slightly odd.

Basically I like the idea of opinion openers but if you're passing a girl in the street I don't feel like they are the best way to go

LOL dude it doesn't have to be so scripted... I've been at Target and seen a girl in an isle and asked her "Hey what type of pop-tarts do you think taste better, brown sugar with cinnamon or strawberry?" Mind you... I'll have Chocolate and Blueberry or some shit in my hands and she will be completely mind fucked and just start laughing. Then, I'm workin sahn! lol Just be random and start asking questions about RANDOM shit. The point of your opener is to make yourself MEMORABLE. Trust me... they don't forget shit like that.
