Hi everyone!
I'm an average-looking, 44 years old, geeky white guy. Divorced, no kids. Not poor, not rich. I live in Montreal, Canada.
Painfully aware of (some) of my sticky-points (low self-esteem, confidence...), I have always been interested in self-development. In the past two years, I've been interested in hypnosis as a useful tool. I took a couple of seminars, but I'm sorry to say I haven't been very successful so far... Maybe I didn't have good teachers. Or maybe I'm just not talented (aka confident).
Anyway, it is during those seminars that I first learned about NLP. As I was looking for some info on the subject last week, I found Neil Strauss' book mentioned somewhere (I'm told my post "looks too spammy" if I try to put a link here).
And I started reading...
This book got my curiosity. And my interest...
And so, here I am!
Right now, I am not interested in becoming a bona fide PUA (first, I don't like bars

. Cafés are nice, though

). But as a genuine AFC with serious AA, I believe I can learn a thing or twelve!
Okay, so I'm off to explore this forum!
