i read The Game. a few months ago and did get somewhere using some of his techniques however i'm looking for some specific help. i have a few openers i usually use: the maury routine described by style, and one other where i ask girls to help me come up with a name for a cat that followed me home.

sometimes i feel i'm too forward in this approach and what i find happens the most is that after i open i'm dead in the water i don't know what to do next to draw them into a conversation.
any advice on this?

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on getting out there and opening. Sounds like you need to stack another opener to keep the conversation going. Or you could go into a DHV story of your own that relates to one of your openers. Or even use a routine like Mystery ESP, or 5 Lies. You've broken the ice now you just have to just in!
