| Well here I am. I'm twenty years old, and have almost no dating experience what so ever. I've been in one official relationship in my life, when I was 16, and it lasted a month. That's not to say that I haven't engaged in my fair share of commitment lacking sexual adventures, but thus far I haven't ever been able to keep the one I want; much less set aside my own personal insecurities enough to approach strangers of the opposite sex.
I'm big into artistic expression, and could probably get myself laid a-lot more if I wasn't so apathetic, and insecure. I've been playing guitar since the age of 10, and can play and sing almost anything. If there's one thing I've found that seems to draw women to me, without me ever having to try it's simply playing a few good love songs. Unfortunately I have some sort of weird socially inhibitory complex, that in my mind tells me I'm not nearly as good at the things I enjoy as I should be. So instead of going out and performing at venues, and in front of potential dates, I hide out in my room, practicing relentlessly for no one to hear.
I'm also a photography major, which lends itself quite nicely to all sorts of interesting potential hook ups; and I speak from experience on this one.
Nearly two years ago I slept with a girl whom I have yet to get over, and it's fucked my dating life since.
So here I am on the PUA forum hoping to get a grip on my insecurities, and learn from people more experienced than I.
