Hi Guys,

Been reading here a while thought it was about time I got involved, though I may have slightly different motives than the norm. I already have the girl of my dreams HB9, and no intention of hooking up with anyone else, but nights out sarging are hilarious, and the buzz of entertaining and bemusing complete strangers is like a drug to me.

I go out with a few mates of mine but whilst they're on the lady hunt, i'm just out for a laugh.

Hence I would like to perfect my wingman skills, anyone have any good places to find said information, or forum topics on it, (quicksearch turned up mostly empty), or willing to lend a hand. I'd like to just blitz social sarging and networking, as well as the standard ways to make approaches natural and walk around all day with some blondes under my arms.

Any chat is good chat.

Wing Rules and Tips per Venusian Arts Handbook.

1. He who opens the set, owns the set. He gets first choice of the target.
2. The primary purpose of the wing is to help the player get his target. If the wing can game up his own target from the group fine. But that is not his first priority.
3. Don't ever steal the target. Basically do not give IOIs to the target.
4. The wing should occupy the obstacles so that the player gets more one-on-one time with the target.
5. Always agree with your wing.
6. Your wing is a great and cool guy. That is why you hang out with him afterall.
7. Your wing's feelings are important to you, even more so than the girl's.

Entering the Set as a Wing - Style's Method

"Where you guys just talking about..."
*Player opens the set and gets past the social hook point. The wing approaches the player.
*Player faces the wing and greets him.
*Player the says, "This is my friend xxxxx"
*Wing says, "Oh where you guys just talking about..."
*Player says, "...Yeah (and the opener used)."

Entering the Set as a Wing - Mystery's Accomplishment Intro

*The Player passes the social hook point. The wing approaches the player.
*The Player faces the wing and greets him.
*Player the says, "Hey guys, this is my friend, xxxx..."
-"...a good friend of mine."
-"...a local musican, in a band here."
-"...one of the smartest guys I know."
-"....he's the guy who..."
*The Wing then faces and greets the group with, "Nice to meet you guys."
