I'm 21 years old and new to pickup after reading 'The Game'. I am originally from Oxford,Uk but am currently a student at Exeter University so spend most of my time there. My main hobby is playing rugby but I enjoy all the usual things like chilling and listening to music.
Growing up was a pretty chubby short kid and I think I put far too much importance on my body image which made it real hard for me to talk to girls or even just making friends, I wasnt a complete loner but I deffinetly struggled. I was told about the game a while ago by a friend at uni but didnt read because I was in a relationship at the time and thought it would be inappropriate, but I broke up with the girl about two months ago and decided to give it a go. Havent had any big success yet but deffinetly feel more confident about myself, I think this is helped by the fact I have been training hard for my rugby and would no longer class my self as a chubby kid (weigh over 100kg at 5'10 and although no 6-pack am reasonably lean.) but I am realising now that how I look physically is far less important so am now training more because I love hitting the gym and playing rugby well.
My goals are basically just to feel more comfortable in social situations. I don't want to become some mad Casanova like character but the relationship I just came out of has made me realise I dont want a serious relationship at this point in my life either. Look forward to getting to know and learning from all you guys on here.
