Hey Guys and Girls,

Not sure how this is supposed to go but I feel like telling a story.

While I haven't been against PUA I've stayed away from it since I liked the mystery and excitement of chasing a girl and making my mistakes and have felt that knowing too much takes that aspect away. Similar to knowing how a magician does his tricks.

I say this because after the break up of my longest serious relationship I did a fair amount of reading on texts regarding techniques to "get your ex back".
This was a great way of relief for me both from false hope as well as the new knowledge to help understand what I myself was going through and what my ex would have been going through.

In the end I veered away from pursuing my ex girlfriend and applied what I learnt about the way people work to try and find other girls. Sure enough it worked to an extent. I had seen more women than I would have previously and was quite content with the outcome.

Now while I hadn't learnt much that little bit of knowledge made a hell of a difference but it also took away the deep connection I used to feel with someone. So my fear was always knowing more would take away the excitement and intimate connection with someone. As my feelings of love for someone would disappear.

But now I find myself angry, bitter and heart broken over another girl I'm once again looking for comfort in knowledge. Also the fact that someone is able to make me this angry and at one point so in love is somewhat comforting knowing that the feeling of love won't disappear or at least won't disappear that easily.

So I look forward to getting to know some of you and seeing what this forum has to offer and if possible return the favour in the future.

Cheers,
Benjamin
