So I'm new to this whole community obviously and I've read The Game (Not looking at it as some Bible of Pick-Up) and that inspired me to look into this community. I'm working my way through MM now and I've developed my own style when it comes to game. My only problem is Inner Game, I lack confidence and have this huge fear of rejection.

If you have inner game issues, stop reading MM. That won't help. Go the fuck out and push yourself out of your comfort zone. MM is great. It has some very good stuff for starters. Openers...Routines...what to do with shit tests....what to do with LMR. But these won't move your inner game any further. Only life itself can improve that. Do something crazy. Find a hobby...a passion. Make goals to achieve in your life and work hard for them. That's what gives you confidence and inner game.

i've got to agree with the post above MM is not the way to go. I mean I respect MM and i've used it but there are so many better ways to get over your problems. You just need to go out and maybe for like a few weeks or so don't worry about picking up chicks, just think about making friends in the bar you go to or places you visit where you do pick up women. That way they'll boost your social proof and it will make your life a whole lot easier. Just enjoy life and make friends the trust me the pussy will flood to you if you look like the king of the bar.

Rejection is a part of the game, look at it as baseball, rejection is just a strike out. The greatest baseball players in the world only have about a 300 average. that's 3/10. If you are polite and charming in your advances, the worst that can happen is a girl tells you to fuck off and calls you a loser, right? If you have been polite and get this response, well that girl has her own personal issues and you do not want anything to do with her anyways. If you end up getting a hit, that's great.

The reward far out weighs the risk, except rejection as a part of the game, and soon you will have no fear of it. Once you have no fear of it, it tends to not happen as often.
