What's up guys.

So I wanted to provide a proper introduction so that other newbies can LOL at my mistakes and have the confidence/courage to go out and participate in this great game. No one can fail as hard as my first experience.

I am still a newbie myself, so you guys will have to teach me the proper terms, etc.

I've only been in this game for about...2 months. So as you can imagine, my experiences are very limited.

Anyway, I am going to be perfectly honest, so that you guys can LOL or give support honestly as well.

I didn't have my first "serious" relationship until high school. It lasted about 7 months, and damn if it wasn't a living hell. After that I stayed away from women for a longggg time.

I am 20 now, and I recently got into this game for generic reasons (getting mind off of someone, meet new people, develop confidence, etc.). So without further delay, here are my experiences:

Experience #1: @Best Buy, I see a girl browsing CDs

Me: Hey can I have your phone number?
Her: Why?
Me: ... (walks away)


Experience #2:

My buddy actually set me up on a blind date. Everything turned out well, in fact, she asked for MY number and texted me the night of the date. But it turned out she was seeing me to get her mind off of someone else. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this until the 3rd date. Talk about a time waster huh?


Experience #3: @ a small cafe

Me: Hey I remember you....(short small talk)
Her: Yeah....(small talk)
Me: Would you like to go out sometime?
Her: Sure!
Her: Do you want my number?
Me: Nah, I am just going to walk in here randomly and hope I run into you.
Her: Right? Here: XXX-XXXX

Date went pretty well. Even planned a second date 5 days later. But she ultimately flaked, said something along the lines of family problems.

Experience #4: @ a club with my buddies (their first time in that setting)

Me: Hey what's your name?
Her: Michaela, you?
Me: XXXX, are you here with your friends?
Her: Yeah, XXX and XXXX
Me: Great, bring them with you and come meet my friends.
Her: Why don't you bring your friends over?
Me: Nope, hurry up.
*brings her friends over and introduces them*

My buddy couldn't wing (first time), but at least he got the experience.

Experience #5: See my very first post.

Of course, there's no way my persona, beliefs, etc. can be encapsulated in one thread, but this is just a start. I hope you guys can learn something from my experiences, as well as teach me things I was previously unaware of.
