Since we often us pivots as "pawns" I'd like to explain this in terms of a chess metaphor.

A Pickup is similiar to a chess game... and PUA has many tool at his disposal... these are similiar to your Bishops, Knights and Rooks... each has diffrent attribute and is usefull in different ways.

A Pivot is like a Pawn... A pawn can be use for many porpuses... Gambits, controling the center of the board (interaction) moving into enemy lines less threateningly then you other pieces, etc.

But a trained and knowledgable "wingwoman" is like a queen... and can be used along with your other pieces to gain a ridiculous and nearly "unfair" advantage.

It's all a matter of value, someone like Zip to me has a much higher value as a wing/ contributing member of the community, then she would as a target. Her other values (contribution value, wing value, etc) out weigh her potential reproductive value in my mind and likely in the minds of many on this forum... hence why you were hit on and she was not really... Your being judged only for your R value(target), or as a pawn (and no offense but pawns are a dime a dozen).

Claire your understand is wrong... I see your worth as tied directly to you Reproductive value... What else do you have thats worth anything to me? The doesn't mean I find you attractive... it only means what it is at face value... Your only worth your genetic capacity for reproducting offspring to me. Obviously, the correct answer is when the name calling starts, let the moderators handle it.

We don't have much tolerance for this, or other forms of trouble making on either side of the equation. It's just an unnecessary act.
