Hello my name is David i'm 26 years old and from the UK. After splitting from a 3 year relationship I was introduced to pickup-artistry by a friend who kindly lent me a copy of the Mystery Method to read. Needless to say I was intrigued.
A year ago I split from another 3 year relationship (3 seems to be the magic number) placing me back in the game. I decided to delve deeper into the world of pick up buying an audio copy of The Game, other audio books and watching videos on YouTube.
I've had other short-term relationships a handful of date and other positive experiences in the field all with hot women but have not yet been able to emulate the successes to create my own personal game.
One of the biggest problem I find is time and experience in the field, having no friend with similar interest (other that the one who lent me 'MM' who is currently in a relationship) to go out and practice gaming. I hope to find other local PUA and PUA to be that I can learn from.

This is true but their desire to go out is a lot lower than I feel it would be necessary to greatly improve pick up technique. For this reason I often find myself on my own in this venture. Its not that I see this as a reason not to try, I feel it would be good to have some there to critique and learn from.

I like the idea of setting small day to day goals. I'm going to try the Newbie Mission mentioned on this forum smiling and saying hi to every hot women I see.

When you where out did you manage to move continuously between sets or was there times when you would be on your own? If so how would you conduct yourself when not in a set?

This stumped me for a while when I first started going out, too. What I learned is that if you're just sociable, it really won't be an issue. As Mystery says in his book, don't worry about talking to the most gorgeous women, and it can even be a group of guys. Just be sociable and start interacting with any set as you move throughout the venue. It took me a while to realize this, but you can practice gaming ANYBODY, because it's a structure, not so much a content. if you're going Mystery's route, then you would go through the M3 model; if you're going more of a natural route, then you'd be going more of a 3 characters of seduction from Gambler. Just practice being spontaneous and talking with people and directing the conversations into topics you want to talk about. If you can do this reliably, then that skill will carry over to talking with the women you want, and you will be having a good time, and being a social guy in the meantime.
