Hello everyone here's my quick background story. I am 23 living in Miami and have joined this forum for the common reasons that many others have, I definitely have anxiety in social situations when it comes to girls I find attractive, so that includes approach anxiety, social anxiety, all types of anxiety whenever there is any form of interaction with attractive women. I struggle with maintaining a girl's interest during conversation whether it be in person or over text, they always seem to lose interest. The only time I can keep their interest is when I am drunk. This leads me to think that I have difficulty displaying high social value.

I wouldn't consider myself unfortunate with the ladies but rather not fulfilling my potential. My number is currently 16 girls, albeit a decent amount of that is from one night stands. I definitely believe I am not performing to the best of my social abilities. Lately my confidence has become more shot than ever, for 2014 I've only had sexual relations with one woman. I've given up to a certain degree because the consistent rejections and the feelings of lack of value have hit my self-esteem. Many people assume I do well with girls because I have the "look" since I go to the gym a lot and keep myself well groomed but I definitely struggle especially as of late. I find myself avoiding going out with male colleagues because they all believe that I will bring them women and I fear greatly that they will learn the truth of my deep struggle. I want to have female friends (which I don't have at all) and would love to find something meaningful with a beautiful woman and at the same time be confident in my ability to pull anytime I go out. Currently I feel incapable of doing this especially sober. My day-game is nonexistent and I have relied on getting drunk and just going to bars or nightclubs. I don't want to have to be doing this to get girls.

I do not view myself as a quitter however and definitely believe in overcoming one's weaknesses no matter what so I will do what it takes to make myself socially skilled in all dimensions. I've read Mystery's book before so I am not a complete amateur to game but I definitely haven't practiced it enough. I would say my greatest weakness is not being able to display high social value. I firmly beleive this forum will be a step in the right direction. Cheers.

Stop reading. Stop worrying about Value. Value is in large part a limiting concept. To display Value is often showing you have lower value because you need to prove you have traits women would want.

The better method, which most PUA's have moved to, would be Buying Temperature spiking with Role Plays, Future Adventure Projections and Teasing. Read up a bit on those. They convey superior Attraction qualities and also work quicker. The only down side is you need to learn to leverage your Attraction into investment quicker. Such as Qualification quicker.

The Mystery Method is not bad, but a bit out dated. Do not be limited by what you read. Be inspired, practice it, and learn from its weaknesses to improve.
