Sadly, there is no great insight into how to star approaching. You just do it. You don't want to run a cross the street to stop a 10 and try to game her, I understand. But you really need to start opening people, any people. That's it. If you are scared, do it anyway. If you want easy self help, then you shouldn't have pick cold approach! Lol.
Don't worry, it's fun and you'll be proud of yourself. Just go to Starbucks and let some old lady talk your ear off.
