This is my first ever PUA form and my first ever post. Let me tell you a little about me first. I have some original experience in picking up. Things I learned by chance or by trial and failure. I have some interesting things to share. Let me tell you, I am a Pakistani in Germany. Coming from a conservative background I had absolutely no experience in approaching women. Picking up once seemed like an idea far from my reach. I once accepted the 'fact' that being a Pakistani no women is ever going to like me. I am 5'8, hairy and I thought I had no sense of humor. And I somehow tried to find peace with it. But the frustration kept boiling. I wanted women.
Then a miracle happened. About 4 years ago, I was 23/24. I had a French colleague (about 43/44) who was known for finding a new sex partner, on average, twice a week. Once in a party, I asked him, "man, how do you even do this?" In response he told me it is pretty simple, and asked me to point to any woman and he will approach her. I complied and he confidently approached any woman I pointed out. Cutting short, he introduced me to one and left me with her so I could talk on my own. It wasn't that hard but I had to excuse myself to take a few moments for me to celebrate the unfathomable joy that I suddenly felt.
Later he gave me one advice that TOTALLY changed my life. He said, "my friend, don't ever be afraid of rejection".
That day onwards, the success has been enormous. Or, at least, that's how I see it. I never read any book on picking up women, nor did I ever watch any video clip. Never even asked my colleague for advice again. I only approached women, one after another. Learned from first hand experiences.
About 2 months ago, I was coaching a Spanish friend of mine and he started talking about this book, "The Game". He had read it and he thought I had read it too along with other literature in regards to picking up. But no, that was my first introduction to anything close the society of pickup artists.
Got to go for dinner right now. I will share more of my original experiences with you guys and I know there's yet a lot for me to learn.
