Hey guys I'm Scott from Northern England. Normally I would try to avoid talking to ANYONE, let alone women in my age group but I decided I've got to try and if it goes wrong then so what? I don't know them anyway.
I've tried to keep that attitude but it's hard when women seem to walk off mid-conversation.
I went out specifically to talk to women for the first time today and walked around a local village.
Here's how it went:

10th May

Went to local market hall walked around a bit didn't talk to any girls. Talked to stall owners.
Attempts:0

Went in Iceland talked to one girl asked if they sell small bottles of juice and asked for time, said "I like your watch..." she said thanks but had already turned to walk away before I said it.
Attempts:1

Went in Asda spoke to one girl for a few minutes(might have had some interest) by asking her the time. Asked why she didn't wear a watch. listened then asked "do people not usually come up and talk to you?" she said "no not really" "you must have something that puts them off" she laughed then my mind went blank and I asked what time she finished, she walked off.
attempts:1

Asked a few girls the time on way back to motorbike, no interest.
attempts: 2

Walked back to co-op because I left my wallet in there, on the way there I asked a girl the time(Do women not wear watches anymore?) and said "I like your phone. What is it?" Talked for a few seconds about phones, when I asked what she was up to today she said "I'm on my way to my mate's" started walking off, asked her name as she was turning, she told me but carried on.
attempts: 1

Rode back to my town.
Walked round Aldi , no interesting girls. Went into Iceland, asked an asian girl where the chocolate was and got talking to her, I thanked her and decided to ask her to write her number on the back of the receipt at the checkout. She was married.
Attempts: 1

Anyone got any ideas or helpful advice? Or where I'm going wrong?

I've also seen something called inner-game mentioned is that like self-confidence?

I'm new to the Game as well my friend. However, I can't help but feel like your mistake was asking for the time. Ask for directions instead (Even if you know where your going) Asking for directions VS asking for the time gives you more time with the girl. it's easy to say 12:30 and walk away. But it takes a little more time to give directions.
