I came here because of my room mate who in his 40's is a MPUA. I can't believe I'm lucky enough to be around him and the people he has access too. Now though that's not important.
I work in a sales job, I'm 7th in the company and started with 0 experience. I worked hard and fought my way through every struggle to overcome my anxiety and learn to embrace the fire, while it burns out my imperfections.
I've studied everything, and know my craft better then most. Yet I'm being passed by people with less functional knowledge that are masters of building relationships with others, no matter their gender, race, age, or station in life.
I'm more grateful for this forum then I am for anything else I've found so far. "PUA's" I've met so far are so disconnected with the 'service' mentality that they still focus on what they want (sex, money, status) and don't give.
I want to learn how to build strong relationships, realize what being a man really means, and if I'm lucky find a girl worth growing with sooner rather then later.
I'll post more about my personal process later, because it's more sales oriented. What there is to offer from that field mirrors this in a lot of ways. How to win friends and influence people was where I've started. I'm working my way out from there.
I appreciate this existing to help other men build those relationships, and if I may be so bold as to add a book to recommend?
I want to make sure the PUA community aren't gladiators. I'm looking to build a city of influence.
Thank's everyone!
-Ash
