You're in a bit of a sticky wicket there.
I've had a couple of my mates go through uni as engineers and yea its either sleep, study or social life.
But! you have a plan which is brilliant, gold coast is mint.
Before i go on further I better give you my introductory blaber which as it sounds might have a couple similarities with your own.

I'm 21.
Currently up in the Northern territory near Darwin.

New to the game.
Got out of a 4 year relationship which kinda stuffed me around a lot. but in saying that I never really had much luck with females before that anyway.
I read the game and it opened my eyes.
Before the book (BtB) I hadn't had sex in years and had come to think that its the normal.
Even with a girlfriend I accepted and unfairly embraced the idea that some guys get the girls some guys are just the friends, ~(All that seems to happen to me when I met a new girl) , and worst yet I had accepted that there was nothing I could do to change it.
Well you know what fuck that!!!!
Pardon my French but I don't know about you I think its time I found my feat and battled these seemingly unbeatable dragons and tear back there façades to show them as normal two armed and two legged females they are.

Anyway back to it,
I know this is probably going to be a bit tough but where you can you should sit down and study for gold coast. not much else you can do... although one would think there would be at least a couple girls in an engineering class you could just chat to and try some tricks. e.g. number 1>10 they should be thinking of 7, or my favourite; guess a country in europe starting with D then think of an animal whose name starts with the second letter of the country and then the colour of that animal. if they're not idiots or sneaky brown Echidnas the should be thinking of a grey elephant from Denmark.

Yea.. so thats it I spose do some practice. learn some tricks. perfect said tricks to the point when your mates, preferably females strangers are asking you to show their friends then say "fuck no this shit ain't free!!" "I'm a magician bitch you should be paying me!!"hahaha of course say it with a smile and.... probably best not to called strangers bitches, I've heard it can create some unstable responses.

Have you always lived in NT or just up there for work etc SPAM?

As far as your situation with women i can understand the frustration at being friend-zoned and have had it happen to me on a number of times. In reflection the link to most of these cases is how much I've gone out of my way or been extra 'nice' to them without instigating any sexual escalation. Could it be perhaps that this is the flaw in your approach?

My current situation is that i'm only really confident in what i call dance floor game because in my experience the worst case outcome is a waving off style rejection that is hidden from scrutiny amongst flailing limbs haha. Lately i have had a bit of oneitis focusing on a bird i hooked up with on a couple of consecutive weekends clubbing but failed to close both times (heavy last minute resistance). Anyway after being screwed around by her bailing on a house party i'd invited her to i decided to just focus on studies and forget about her.

Then to my surprise after 2 weeks of no contact she invites me to her small birthday house party and 'likes' my post joining the event on facebook. I'm probably reading too much into the situation but definitely something i noticed.

Thanks for the 'tricks' i'd heard of the 1>10 trick but the elaborate elephant one is a winner i think and i'll be sure to try it. You'd think there'd be a couple of girls in engineering and you'd literally be right. There is one who'm i have the odd chat to as we walk past each other but i have real trouble trying to bring 'game' into general chit chat but on the plus side the conversation flows naturally with her at least.

Well I've been thinking about the sexual escalation approach and Im pretty keen to give it a try but my first problem is the good dam mid game!!

Over the last week or so I've been hit and miss a bit, fri night i met a new girl through a group of friends and i thought yea perfect chance to practice.

so i get there and there she is making my drink looking like at least a solid HB9.3, stilled hadn't noticed i had arrived then when she noticed me she said

she then proceeds to introduce me to another waitress serving me behind the counter

Other girl: ow so you'll be joining us on friday aye?
WINGS:Haha yea.

So I payed her flat mate for the coffee and also ordered a wrap.
went over to chat with the Cute girl, im pretty sure she gave me a unintended neg; making a comment what do i do all day and how come my face is all dirty{working as a trade assistant in a metal workshop is a messy game}. took my coffee then went away to run some errands, came back for my wrap and then her and her SPAM informed me their going to go down to the pub about 3pm for a drink and of offered me to join them, i couldnt because i didnt finish work till 6pm but i told them if they wait ill come down. then on my way out i half heard the flatemate make a pass to the Cute girl saying:something,somthing, real smooth as in taking the piss out of the cutegirl for coming on to strong, which to be honest i didnt really think she did but maybe she broke some girl code i don't know about, there all still pretty confusing to me at this point haha. any way finished work at six and sent her a txt.
WINGS:so.. did you wait for me?

so lunchtime the next day sent her another txt.

WINGS:So you still wana catch up on friday or was last night enough fun for the whole week?
