Well first off, I'm a lesbian. I have no idea if there are other lesbians on this forum, and if not, I hope that you guys don't mind me being here! I'm not really a butch, but I'm usually more masculine than feminine.
I'm here because I find this entire process facinating and believe that it's about more than just picking up women. It seems to be an incredible way to enhance one's life and social interaction.
I grew up in a very small town, and if you guys think it's hard to meet women as men... try meeting feminine, attractive women who are attracted to other women. It's hell. Especially in small towns where there's a severe lack of gay/lesbian culture. I thought my problem was my small town roots, until I spent 3 years in london and never got a girlfriend. While my upbringing surely plays a role in my paranoia about expressing sexual interest in women (what if she's straight? what if it offends her??), I've come to realize that going out all the time in a big city isn't the key to sucessfully attracting girls.
There are fairly unattractive lesbians out there that I know who actually manage to get straight women to question their heterosexuality. I want that magnitism. Not to attract straight girls, but to attract the types of femme lesbians that I'm attracted to.
I'm the queen of making friends and meeting people, but when it comes to expressing sexual interest... I chicken out and get stuffed into the "friend" box just like I'm sure so many of you "nice guys" have.
I'm here because I'm hoping to learn from these methods, become more sexually confident, and actually start dating and enjoying a more social life than I have since I've moved to DC.
Any starter suggestions?

Feel free to ask questions.

You guys are like lesbians (in a good way), which is probaby why there have been those rare occasions where I've become attracted to a man who has managed to master these techniques...
