FNG here but I am not new to the game. Score is up in the 70s-80s but that is a bit boring. I'm interested in actually thinking about pick up skills than my average approach.

My average approach is what I like to call hawking. Basically, I get about two drinks in me and I scope out the bar or club (Hawks scope on their pray) when I find a girl that I think could have a higher success rate for me I swoop in. Now I don't use a line or a odd opening... a lot of times it is a bump or I make a good 3 second eye contact with them and go up to her at the bar but I don't talk to her. I order a mix drink and then complain to her how bad it is/how weak it is. Now I used to bartend and I had a great mixed punch/drink that women llllooooooovvvveeee. After finding out that she likes mix drinks I will teach the bartender how to make it and I pick up the tab. She falls in love with it... and me... and I take her where I can hear her better because people are loud and pushy at the bar... Case is normally closed at that point. Of course this only works with a group of women or a group with one guy that is their DD because the poor lad has no life.

So that is my trusted technique, I have a few others but I am always looking to evolve and see where that gets me.
