Hi Everyone,

I'm 21 years old, and always suffered from 'one-itis'. I've been in 3 long term relationships, totalling 6 years, already - and I'm done with that.

A friend of mine recommended I read 'The Game' - she'd heard some guys had some luck with it. I got reading, got interested, got looking around, and got a pair of balls. Reading the book made me think "If these guys can do it, why can't I?" I'm not a particularly bad looking guy, just not very "stand-out" - also always had issues approaching. After reading the game though I decided what's the point in being 'afraid' of people I don't even know, who I'll probably never see again?

I've only been studying for about a week now - and already score one! Was out with work last night in a club, and tried chatting with a few of the girls in the club who weren't from work. I got a response and a wink, but I kept going to the void and convo died.

I was planning on going out to another club with mates, but they bailed. I wasn't done though, and went out solo. After getting some 'dutch courage' (Which I want to work away from) I stood beside these two chicks, but wasn't brave enough to move in. A little while later I noticed a guy talking to one of the girls - leaving the other one solo. (Okay not the greatest of moves, but gotta start somewhere!).

I swooped in and opened with the awesome "Do I look gay? Some guy outside grabbed my ass!", and got the convo going from there. A few hours later I was waking up next to her

I got kinda lucky, I think it was a mix of UFC getting lucky and wanting to be a PUA - but it's a starting point. I've never had an issue with end game - it's getting there that's been my problem.

I'm located in Northern Ireland, looking to maybe find/be a wing - my current friend pool isn't good enough for this

I find it difficult to keep convo's going as I'm pretty much a nerd, and I try to avoid the topic of games and computers - leaving me with little to go on. Hoping to expand here, find out some good chatup routines, etc.

Sorry for the long intro! If anything I just want to make people aware that this sort of stuff really does work, no matter how silly it may sound/feel. As I said, I had some dutch courage, but I'm hoping to get to the point where I'm confident enough to keep a convo going and throw some openers without drinks, as I feel it hinders my game.

Im from northern ireland too & have no wings yet, i dont wanna tell my mates either cos they are all either in r.ships or wouldnt take it seriously.

I havnt actually sarged yet cos the nightlife where i live is lame & full of jailbait anyway, so im only working daygame at the minute, which also sucks around here.

I found PUA 5 months ago when my gf finished with me & since then ive been reading a lot about it & trying to get rid of AA, im getting there. Ive had a fair amount of women in the past, but PUA fucks up your natural game cos your brain is filled with allsorts of stuff.

Done and done. I think she was easy - but gotta start somewhere right? I know exactly what you're saying, I've always been the 'quiet nice guy' sitting in the corner, without any confidence and always trying to work up the courage to approach. Trying my best to get over that

I've told a few of my mates but they're not into it - generally none of my mates go out any more, too busy with work and stuff, or in relationships! So yeah, looking to meet some new people in the game

Yep, day game is tougher, but round here i know almost everyone in the nightspots so id feel really weird trying to game people i already know lol plus bouncers around here dont like me (not my fault,promise) my area is just shit

Not totally dead, but still very underground & unknown, compared to the likes of USA & England its non existent here....but thats good for us, cos we can take it upon ourselves to make it massive!!!
