I'm 28 years old and I live in Sydney Australia.

When I was 20 years old I had a mental breakdown after a seriously horrendous relationship. I ended up with severe panic attacks leaving me trapped in my room for almost 6 months.

I got into the pickup scene just over 6 years ago after reading 'The Game'. Really, that's such a cliche these days.

I started by using lots of routines and pick up lines etc. But it never really worked for me, once I started being a bit more 'real' I realised women started getting far more interested in me.

I am heavily involved with a lot of 'mens work'. For those of you who haven't heard of this, it's about developing yourself as a man with a strong masculine core, no bullshit, no playing games, and a high degree of honesty with those around you. It also spills out onto treating women with respect at all times. Does that mean I can't have casual sex? Of course not, it means I have to be honest about it, and maintain respect for women whether or not they want casual sex.

I teach pickup in Various cities in Australia with my own company. I won't mention it here as I don't want to void any advertising rules.

I believe the industry needs to be cleaned up. There is nothing wrong with men who want more success with women, there's nothing wrong with men wanting to sleep with lots of women. However, I think the way some people choose to go about it is not something as a member of the pickup community that I'm very proud of. I'd like to see more men going out there working on their confidence, being honest with themselves and with women, and working towards turning themselves into high quality men.
