What are the best texts to read for a newbie?

Just read The Game and found myself absolutely facinated by the social psychology not to mention the power. I'm looking for the best starter books for a good background of the psychology. I purchased the suggested texts: Sperm Wars, the red queen, the art of seduction, 48 laws of power, and Mystery's book. What I would like to find is books that are good for conversation in the demonstrating value phase, such as cold reading, handwriting analysis, body language ect. or any other essential text. Would love any input. Thx.
