Well this is kind of odd to me, didn't even know this stuff existed until "The Pick Up Artist" on VH1. The funny thing is I have always known some of the basics.... but not in the detail that I have seen in the short time I have been paying attention.
So I am sure I am like everyone else here.... I am currently reading "The Game" ... great book.. and I love how it humanizes the PUAs. I am already seeing a huge change in my weekend game. I have always had the confidence but just not the technique. Each weekend I go out I try to challenge my self a little more, getting free drinks, talking to larger sets, and just having a good time over all.

So thats what brings me to this forum.... I want to learn a little more and see what others are doing. I have been taking what I have learned from shows, books, etc... and bringing my own spin on it... I want to see how you guys do it as well.

Welcome.... you'll learn a great deal here.... undoubtedly more than you will from the show. The show is the Mystery Method, which is arguably the best out there. But there are dozens of truly great PUAs out there that we take bits and pieces from. Broaden your horizons, learn all of them methods, and take what from each what you're the most comfortable with and what works from you. The community is growing faster than what many of us would like..... but we hope to stay true to the original secret society spirit of it.

Thats true, I think the best way is to learn as much and make it your own. One of the guys I work with keeps dumbfounded that its working for me in the very city the show is filmed in... he keeps wanting me to bet busted for using a opener from the show, or using an opener more the one time. But I use stories from my life, and don't make up stuff just to start conversation... the way I figure is if I do suddenly find my self in a relationship with a girl I started out as a lie... well then thats a losing battle I want to avoid.

Looking forward to contributing to the forums... I already have a crazy weekend to tell about....haha, love being single in this city.
