Nice to see that someone is practicing pick up in NI. Read your blog and was most interested in your first steps into the Game in NI. You seem to have made a lot of progress in a short time in your experiments online. Although, as you say, online is no substitute for real approaches. I read "The Game" 2 years ago and am convinced it is the way I should go, but.... not much progress. So kudos to you for getting on with it. I shall watch your blog with interest. |

Yeah man, I have mainly been experimenting online almost as practice for gaming women in the real world. Many of the lines / routines that I find work online actually get quite a good response in real-life as well. Online Game I find is only really useful for meeting single MILFs / Cougars. It is slim-picking for any decent women of my age. Recently number-closed one on there from Downpatrick who is basically just up for s*x. They escalate quite quickly to s*x talk once you get past the initial stage!! I would say that I adhere to the Mystery Method -- I am the type of person who likes coming up with canned-material and ready-made responses. I am kind of a geek like that =P Natural Game doesn't sound as fun to me although ofcourse there are elements I still use that are improvised. I am still in my early stages of real-life / day / night-game. I have recently started going out with a like-minded wing-man who has just about got me over my fear of approach anxiety and I have made quite a bit of progress. Going to be busy over the next couple of weeks so won't be blogging much of my experience, but hopefully will get a day out day-gaming where I will be recording audio of 5 approaches I will be making in town. Two New Blogposts http://nipua.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/pea ... s-neg.html http://nipua.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/onl ... -2-18.html Where you from in NI yourself? |

I live in Newcastle, not a hugely target rich environment, although there are some surprises. I see from your blog that you are working quite hard and progressing quite quickly. As I said, I haven't got very far in the two years since I discovered the game. One reason is my job, which is all consuming for 11 months of the year. Another is that I have an LTR - long story. Also I'm old!!!, 49, which is a bit of an issue for me. I too am aiming to practice "Mystery method". My plan is to follow the "Rules of the Game", the follow up to "The Game". I definitely like the idea of building up a structured approach, and having routines such as the Cube and maybe even some magic tricks to give interactions some content. I've also recently read Richard la Ruina's "The Natural". His approach is fairly straightforward, and he emphasises getting the basics right. I agree with you that it seems preferable to have some "canned material" - I think girls like stories and games, and maybe that approach will be a bit rarer here. He seems to have learned his game in nightclubs, which won't work for me, so perhaps daygame might suit me better. Also recently came across "Good Looking Loser" (at his eponymous website the address of which this forum won't let me post!) which is interesting, especially the approach he calls "basic guy game" which he advocates for beginners because its simple, so doesn't involve remembering a lot of steps. He has some nice video demos of this. Hope your exploits will inspire me! |
