Post subject:  flow/order questions

Hi guys,

I'm new, i have read "The Game" and watched "The Pickup Artist". Im fairly familiar with the lingo. My problem is in understanding the "steps". in other words Mystery descripes the process as being linear, so what are all the steps in order?

Is it something like...

Opener/time constraint < DHV/Neg's < Disarm Obsticles < Issolate target < Emotional Connection < etc...

If so how do you smoothely transition between say an opener, and a DHV?

for instance lets say i open with something like, "Guys, i need a feminine opinion on a debate im having with a friend. Is it ok for a guy to have a picture of his ex in his wallet while hes goin out with someone?"

At this point im hoping they are intrested, and i get a reply...If so how would i then goto a DHV from here? Is it ok to get them to elaborate or do i wana be the one doing most of the speaking? I think the opener part im comfortable with but its the immediate follow up to it that im unclear on (time constraint right away then dhv?)

So basically how do i get from point a-b-c without it being choppy?

WoW! Thanks for your depth and insight into my question Trivial (obviously a reference to your social skills). However i was merely outlining my current understanding (remember were are not all at your level yet) of the method so that my misinterpretations could be corrected.

I guess it never occured to you that i may have JUST finished reading "The Game" and have not yet had the chance to pick up the numerous other books mentioned there or on this forum under the faq's section?

Also is it not the point of this forum to allow people to share their knoweledge gained from volumes of texts in much smaller, more concentrated dosses?

You asking me why i didnt just make a post like xxxx, is like me asking why you didnt just NOT respond.

I am here so that i may absorb some of the wisdom others have to share and hopefully at some point turn around and share it with someone else who is new to the game. If your not here for that reason, as your actions do not show this, i would ask why you bother with these forums at all? If its to tell people to go buy books instead of being helpful id hope that the rest of this community is not as inept as you are.

IT practice man, read while you are out there practicing. I am right now just working on approaching and opening sets. With time it has somehow gotten easier to keep going with the convo simply from seeing how girls respond and what transitions work in different situations.

Ka, man cool down. There has been a big uprising about all the new people coming in and I guess you hit a nerve don't take it personally. Have you tried searching and reading old post on this?

Here is a website that gives you a good outline of the M3 model:
http://www.freewebs.com/xfman/outergame.htm

This forum is a place to exchange knowledge but it is not to just ask general questions all the time, but more of here is what I tired and how can I improve it thin". Props on planting it in the newbie questions though.

The best way to learn the flow is to, like the previous post said, go out and crash and burn comeback analyze what you did wrong go back out work on it then move on to the next step. Practice everywhere all the time. Good luck.
