This was seriously a horrible
pickup on my part--I have no
idea what I was thinking.

There was a girl that I was trying
to pick up; First I open her, walk
away. Come back, have a small
convo, walk away. Come back a
third time, she tells me to leave.

Her: Can you go away?
Me: Me? Why?
Her: 'Cause You're annoying me.
Can you leave?
Me: Psh, don't give me that. I've
had girls like you for breakfast.

10 second pause.

Her: Are you going to leave?

I said nothing and just walked away.


That pissed me off. Wtf happened here?

Well not really, by me going then
coming back, I'm doing something
called "rolling off" meaning that I'm
showing disinterest.

Then I DHV myself by acting like I'm
not attached to her and not too needy.

Finally, I show her that I have other
people that I can go to.

maybe you didn't build enough attraction for her to care if you came or went. Showing disinterest is good as long as she is interested. If you didn't build enough attraction then it would've been annoying to have some guy she isnt interested keep bothering her.

The first walk away and come back would have been OK provided u had developed an alpha status with the girl and she had some sort of attraction to u. The second time u left and then came back for a 3rd time that was just annoying.

There's other ways of showing disinterest, body language, eye contact, turning your back to her, negs etc.
Rolling off takes knowing when u have sure fire signs the girl is interested.
Or Roll offs should be used when ur target can clearly see u Gaming other women then u want to actually bring those women with u back to your original target. That's called Joining Sets very powerful for creating jealousy

Going back and forth with no attraction on my part would make me pretty annoyed and would make me tell u leave also.
There is a such thing as showing disinterest but the way you were doing it triggered an "OK what the F u want" thought with the girl
Way too much back and forth

Rolling off is a calibration technique "Can i use it an get away with it"
U didn't understand what went wrong. I'll tell U... U used it unneccesarily without really understand how it works. Roll off also requires to u have no fear of losing the set because they could be gone when u try to comeback. And u got to be aware ur getting the IOI's that tell u a return to the set is welcomed

Wow, it sounds like I kinda made
a mistake hahaha.

Well, this was a practice set, anyway
and I really didn't care.

But now I know my mistake and I'll
fix it.

Dude. You did not build any attraction. You kept on approaching and leaving. She already knew that you were totally into her. You came back to her 3 times. Thats not gonna build anything except desperation. Approach her once. Make conversation, build comfort, attraction, then leave and approach another set, and make sure she sees u opening sets. Make sure that you look like you are the guy that everybody loves. Then when you decide to talk to her a second time then make sure you build some major kino, and throw some negs in there. Act like you dont even need to be there. Dont approach her three times like that. Two times should be the limit.

I doubt that.

No way you can do the shit above and have the type of game to pull every girl you've "tried" to pick up. My guess is you haven't read the material and are "winging" shit based off what you read on the forums. You would have known via body language from her (and IOIs) that the second time you came back. You obviously were not interesting nor did you build any type of attraction with the set.

Hell, just looking at a girl's facial expressions can give you so many clues on whether she wants you to shut the fuck up and leave or chill and socialize more.

Futhermore, you really shouldn't be leaving the set to begin with unless you are using that group to DHV yourself for a bigger target or to isolate the target in the group.

Wow, that was fuccing cold!!! I cant say if it was a shit test or what but I had a similar situation happened to me at a festival 3 days ago where this hb8 literally told me to stop stalking her. I DLV'd myself by getting all defensive and coming up with all kinds of plausible reasons. Its messed up to have shit like this happens when aspiring to be Alpha.
