Post subject:  First attempt at opening, wat did i do wrong?
went out last night, got a copy of the game for my birthday. I saw two targets at the bar in the club, 7 and 8. i approached the 7. heres how it went.

me: hey do u believe in magic tricks?
her: magic tricks? no
me: ok pick a number between 1 and 5, keep it in ur head, got it? 3
her: *shakes head* 4
me: see, why do u have the be the first girl that doesnt pick three
her: so was that your pickup line?

i left, damn it sucked haha i usually play the c&f game but take it overboard i think. what did i do wrong with this opening and where should i have taken it after she didnt choose the usual 3?

Maybe try using that later in your routine and if she doesn't say 3 or 7 just neg her about why she didn't pick the right number.

You could have said while smiling " I don't really believe in magic either I just wanted to let you know that you had some lint on your shoulder." then pull some lint out of your pocket hiding it from her and pretend to remove lint from her shoulder.

I think the most important thing here is that you tried. The second most important thing is that you try AGAIN!

failure is part of success and you've just got to get back on the horse and fucking ride it.

Her comment was a shit test and you failed dismally. Next time, expect this kind of response and make sure you don't fall at the first hurdle. remember, its just a game.

tell me wat u think:

-Why do you assume I'm trying pick up lines? You're too much like every other girl in here.

-Kind of full of yourself, are you? assuming guys are trying to pick you up?

-nope, is this your way of trying to embarass me or something?

I would have answered yes, and asked if she liked it. If she smiles and says yes, IOI. If she says no, say that's too bad, walk away and find someone else.
