Post subject:  how do I stop a hot girl in her tracks?
At the mall, hallways, school campus, etc.

How? If we don't know each other, and she is walking towards me, or away from me, or something.. What do I say? I can't whistle. (I'm not saying that whistling does anything, but it lets her know that I think she's hot and I'd do it but I can't) lol, so I'm fucked?


The other day, I saw this hot, hot chick at the grocery.. Trader Joes. She was with her family. But damnit, I would have approached her if I knew how. So depressed. I guess i should have used the surrounding to my advantage or something and used "hey, do I look like a vegetable to you? I see you're checking me out" haha.. um.. but I can never spontaneously think of anything to say in moments like that.

Don't know what to do. I wanna be able to get the attention of every hot girl that looks my way/ doesn't look my way.

Perhaps stop dead in your tracks before she has her back to you and say something like, "Oh my God, I haven't seen you in ages! How have you been?"

Then when she obviously says "no" slip into your introduction.

hmm. Do girls/people always look at you when you pass by?
Happens to me most of the time.. I don't know what it means. Are they just taking in the scenery? or are they judging me?
Should I like call them out and say..

"That'll be a dollar, please"
HB: What?/What for?
"You were checking me out/ For checking me out."
HB: (Don't know what her response would be).
or you could go like, "I think I'm worth more, but since you're so beautiful I'm giving you a discount" something like that..

lol.. just thought of that now.. is it original? is it lame? Feel like it's been used before or somethin..
and takes some time. I want an approach that can be done in like 1 second and seems natural/neutral.. like you just bumped into her.. (I've always feel afraid that if I say something wrong or try to be smart the girl will be like wtf, you're a weirdo.. *walks away*) or is that not possible..

Damn.. do any girls frequent this forum? would be nice to get their opinion.

Although, I never use it and when I do, I've actually met/seen the person somehwere.

and if she says "no.." or looks annoyed
then just say.. "sorry.. i just wanted you to know that you're hot!"
and run away. lol. or walk away..

Now that I think about it, it may very well be one of those older lamer ones. Perhaps use with caution.

Stand still when she is clos to you and turn only your head and ask her opinion of something...

Example:

Girl passing by in the mall, she is coming toward you

PUA ( stop when she is close to you , turn your head to her (not your body- body language - time constant -) and say :

PUA: may have your female opinion of something.

HB: Yeah / Depends

PUA: I just hae a second have to meet my friends anyway Who you think lies more men or women ... and continue....

Good gods... No, asking for a female opinion is a Meet and Greet. It's a salutation, a way to say "Hello," without actually saying "Hello." What is important about the opinion MaG is bodylanguage (re-read xfman's post). It's indicative that you're going to leave at any moment, and that provides safety. Other MaGs require more direct posture.

Run up and poke her. And when she looks at you, be mortified. "Oh my god. Have you ever thought someone was someone else and then realized they were a complete stranger?" And have a story unrelated to poking her that backs it up.

Actually tell her: "Stop!" and look her up and down. "You're cute, but I can make you FABULOUS!" and start mussing with her hair and adjusting her clothes.

MaGs run as many circles as openers, and you should familiarize yourself with as many as possible. Take a look at the "beginning" of a bunch of different kinds of openers, and assemble a list of MaGs you can use to catch a girl's attention and hold her in place.

Sometimes, I'll just make EC with a girl and tell her, "Stop (she stopps) Whats up?"

Another great one (David D) is to walk by, and bump into her with your elbow and accuse her of trying to grab your ass.

Another thing to do with the female opnion ones would be to have the right body language. Make a subtle "stop" gesture with your hands, slightly move into their path. Pause, then continue as if you are expecting them to stop.

Another thing, when I start the opener, I never ask for it. I'll say "Hey, I need a quick opnion on something, it will only take a sec, I need to get back to my friends/I'm on a mission/I'm in a hurry... [opener]"

Its easy.

I actually dont like that one , because if you dont use it with the right body language , the right voice tone and the good C/F look this isnt going to work , she might turn around or just keep walking. That one might work in a crowded place like a club or a pub but not in a mall.

Your actually loosing the point where your trying to go ,That is to make her comfortable with you , thats why you use the opinion opener.


It might work but it will need a lot of practice, and you might get a negative reaction like a weird face if you make that in the mall, it also depends on the girl.

TIP: If your going to use this one dont hit her too hard

hey look y'all xfman's right you got to use an opinion opener and no offense monkey but you're telegraphing too much interest and kurent you're right on the EC. But you guys are missing is that as you opinion open you have to walk with her and don't worry she doesn't notice.

Jaxin, when people write, they like to use things like punctuation and grammar. Spelling, I cant accuse you on, because that would be hypocrytical on my part; next time you write something, please, if not for everyone else, then for your dignity, use grammar. Its there for a reason.

no offense to monkey but that won't work.It telegraphs too much interest.
and what your right on Kurent is that you do you EC when talking to a girl any girl.
but after you use the opener in the mall you have to walk the same way she is.

guys, the strategy for asking the girl their opinion on something..
does that really work? what if they try to question you and say like.. why don't you ask your friends or a girl friend instead of a random stranger?

and what if you're alone at school or the mall, i need a good strategy.

what do I poke her with? jk.. that one sounds like it's too obvious as well..
i'm a bad story teller too..
should i just try it before i say anything..

lol.. i thought of somethin.. sometimes random girls walking by will say "I like your shirt" to me. So should i just go and find a lucky shirt that really stands out?

BLKHLSN your giving to much importance to an opener, your just asking her an opinion a common chat , your not trying to get laid your trying to get an opinion , to chat. Go out and try talking with everyone in a room and you will see isnt that hard to open a set , your just trying to talk, not big deal.

Telegraphing interest is not something you really need to be afraid of. After all, in five minutes, she's going to know you are hitting on her anyway. It's a weak MaG, I'll agree, but not for that reason.

The reason the poking opener is weak is the same reason the elbow opener is weak. Delivered improperly, you'll get a What a Creep Glare and she'll walk off. I can make it work, but only because of my freakish sincerity. If you can't deliver a mortified expression with enough sincerity, she's going to walk off.

BLKHLSN: Women love giving their opinion on something. Even when I'm sarging with a pivot ("female wing,") I can ask for a female opinion and not get shut out. Opinion openers work, and the typical "Hey, can I get a female opinion about something?" MaG can be pretty successful in getting a moving target to stop. It's easilly the best MaG and Opener combo for the new guys.
