I'm a guy who wears quite a lot of diffirent colors, shirts, hats, even like 5 really diffirent colors of pants. The thing I've seen is that diffirent women react diffirently to certain colors.

My question, Is there any known relation between the color you wear and attraction, that is not dependent on the preference of the target?

Good question, I'd like to know the answer to that too.

I know that brown works well, but not too sure about other colours.

I'm new here, but I don't believe so. The thing I've noticed is this. Most people where drab colors, blacks, greys, browns, very low-key. I have these great shirts from Express Men that are vibrant reds, greens, pinks, blues, and so against everyone else in their greys, I stand out. I think as long as you make yourself stand out, it'll add conversation material and it'll get looks.

yes, colors do bring up some attraction. An example is most people would not look twice at a website that's just plain black and white, but will pay more attention to a website full of colors. I tried to post the link but since it's my first day it won't let me. I researched the question for you I got;
n many cultures, men tend to prefer cooler colors (blues and greens) while women tend to prefer warmer colors (reds and oranges).

This came to me earlier today when I was shopping at the market. I noticed that I was getting a LOT more looks while wearing a red shirt + black pants and black hat, compared to the same with a blue shirt the other week.

I can relate to that. When I worked at Wal-Greens, I loved to wear the pastel pink shirt (dress up) with a red tie, unbelievable compliments that were sincere from women I would get wearing the two together.

hmm, I read the site and, I think I'll base what I'm wearing more on certain colors. Going to test red/white and red/black combinations next week and see if people really react diffirent.

it's really all about psychology and the context of using the color. for instance just about every fast food restaurant uses red in their logo and menus because the color red elicits a hunger response. They never use green because it's relaxing and can make you tired.

It'd be interesting to see if they've run psychological tests that have succeeded in showing a neurological response of women to different colors.

Belladonna Purple works a treat! Try matching it with either blues or black.
Mysterious and deep i find.

Arn't patterns something else that effects the mind? :P If so stripes might actually ruin the affect the colors have (or give it some extra power).
