| Post subject: | Huge social issues - it's keeping me AFC!!! |
Okay, I found out lately that I am in deeeeeeeeep shit. Here's why. I AM SOCIALLY INSECURE. Started with my father, he's unable to satisfy. Continued in elementary school - I was bullied. Terribly. And self-centered, so I took it all seriously. I didn't have any friends. Prague sucked. But then I move to Croatia. And started overcoming issues, and developed HUGE social circle over time. With huge help of PUA books, I started to truly taste what popularity meant. Actually, I may say I have concentrated not so much on girls how on people overall. Problem is this. I, after so many social encounters, still haven't overcame my social problems. I still feel scars from the past, still act needy and try-hard. Still I am trying to be alpha, instead of just being it. Still I fear that I will lose my friends, or not be respected enough. Because respect, admiration from people and friends were all I ever longed for. So please, if anyone has some experience with sth like this, if anyone knows how to help, PLEASE help me. It is all I need to do to make my life better. How do you overcome social issues, other way than just meeting new people? Carpe Diem to help others. |

I'd recommend a psychologist, there's only so much the community can do. Sometimes the scars of the past need a professional touch. Good luck man. I feel this too, but I haven't gone as far as you have towards fixing it. Respect. |

psychologists are expensive friends, don't bother. Give Xuma's Secrets of the Alpha Male a try. It's worth the money. |

Hey guys, I think I found a way. Without reading Carlos Xuma. Thing is, I am aware of this problem. And, with some help of NLP techniques, I can prove - and convince myself - that I am no longer that bullied little boy. First of all, I realize that I can only see reality through my eyes; a map is not a territory. Second, I find some evidence - or hypothetical one - where these beliefs are not true. Third, with realizing that it may be different the way it really is, I do statements how I want it to be. And from these, I make affirmations. Hope this helps for everyone who has similar problems. Carpe Diem. Thanks for your support. |

I do believe in Psychologists, also perhaps the best of all is your freinds and family, they know you best, also ,if your here you are obviously making progress, ever think of that? that why we are all here, to help each other. everyone has problems, thier "inner demons" if you will, not everyones are that noticeable, for instance im 25yrs old and im just know learning how to drive, here in america thats pretty embarrassing cause people start driving when they are 16, but im working on it and thats what counts. i hate driving and if i had my way i would never drive, i would just depend on all of my friends for rides but thats not fair to them. As the great pickup guru Mystery put it, "some people say"" yeahman im a go getter, im a go getter man!, but think about this, have you ever thought about be a go giver, what do you have to offer?" so im becoming a go giver, thats what you are doing too. we are all bettering ourselves so we have more to offer. by the way are you familiar with BADBOY the croatian pua? hes got some great stuff i hope i helped skittlepimp |

Find someone who can perform NET on you. Its Neuro Emotional Technique The way it works is you say what your problem is, they do simple tests to find out where in your life this started, then they disconnect the emotional responses that you have to the triggers and then it doesnt affect you anymore. If you actually do it, it seems fake as hell. But if you let it work, it will. I had similar issues growing up and also with my father. And things I never forgave him for that I didnt even know about. Most of the time it turns out to be something random as hell that happened to you as a child. But look into it. |

Build confidence off the things you do well like art, math, auto mechanics, basketball, web design, etc... |

I would recommend hypnotizing yourself. I forgot which book I read it on but it helped me with being bullied in elementary school. (I was very obese and anti-social when I was smaller.) It's basically recording yourself on the computer and you can personalize how you want to feel when you wake up. I highly recommend this if you can find any info on it! It worked wonders with me. |

TNX guys for your support. This means much to me. Well, the day before yesterday I went out with my friends and I simply had the most amazing night in my life. All of my dreams have come true. I was the leader. I was getting attention from all the girls. I got some phone # (although one girl rejected me the day before, I didn't feel bad at all). I was having much, much, much fun. To me, it proved that dreams of socializing can come true. TNX to affirmations (simply realized that all of them are true now), I am no longer trying to be confident. Instead, I AM. I also realized my problems and focused on them. Admitting and accepting you have a problem is the first step to solving it. These techniques you listed, they all sound great. If I find myself another issue, I'll use them. Carpe Diem. |
