| Post subject: | destroying the nice guy persona |
So i been failing miserably. I'm mid 20s now.. raised by my momma so Im probably too nice, but good looking i think and keep in shape *work out every now and than* . I need to lose this nice guy persona since i tend to ruin chances when i start to express my true feelings towards a female and they turn me down and run with the bad boys. Any advice? I need to tear myself apart and rebuild my attitude. Im looking at kino to help, but I end up in fz and cant even get a shot to do kino. I know my prior mistakes was revealing my feelings etc, and should have stayed with a I dont care attitude and appear more adventuress rather than laid back and chill. Im currently back in school and unemployed so i feel like its gonna be a lil hard to reinvent myself. |

You've already taken the first step by realizing that you need to shed the nice guy persona. The best way to put less emphasis on that side of you is to replace it with cockiness. The more you go out, act like a prick, and see the results, the more you'll get used to it. At first you may feel uneasy acting like that but after awhile it'll be natural. So I'd keep going out there and sarging, act cocky funny as often as you can and it'll be part of you faster than you know it. Remember, it's MUCH better to act cocky than needy, and that applies to social interactions in general dJ vIrAl |

thanks Dj Viral , since no income, kinda lacking motivation to sarge alot. I need to figure out how to view myself in third person and see what needs to be changed. Im all for self improvement, Im open minded that everyone can benefit from self improvement. Any good reading material/links/books? much appreciated thanks. Im sick of loosing the girls i like to the badguy with a GED and criminal record lol, tho I do see a trend that those relationships do not last very long, girl gets cheated on and hurt lol *what do they expect? lol* |

Nice guys win in the end. But at first a woman is looking to be seduced, which calls for confidence and a sense of humour, you've gotta act cocky at first. But women don't tend to fall in love with these guys. You've got to do a bit of both. A complete asshole will get alot of action, but nothing lasting very long. And a really nice guy won't be able to seduce a girl. Also I feel ya on the low income issue. I'm a student too, the good thing about being in this situation is that women generally understand that you're low on cash cause almost all students are. P.S. sweet picture, great metaphore dJ vIrAl |

I disagree. I NEVER "won" being a nice guy, I've never seen anyone "win" while being the nice guy. I'm sure that it does happen, but rarely.

In respects to seduction, being a nice guy has NOTHING to do with it. In respects to maintaining a relationship, it does, BUT at any point if you start being too nice you seriously risk losing your chick. There's a fine line between being nice, and looking like a tool. But that's just my view on it. dJ vIrAl |
