Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums, and indeed, new to pick-up.

When you guys are running game, do you ever get caught? Guys like Mystery and Style have been getting a lot of publicity in recent years. After a target has heard a time constraint for the 30th time, doesn't she get wise to what's going on?

u would think so wouldnt u, but the short answer is NO.

yes women are onto some canned marterial but a lot of game is about attitudes that you portray, the kind of things pua teaches is on more of an emotional level so the fear of being "caught" is very unlikely as the things that attract women tp pua's is more often than not, not what is said but the way it is being said, and how the interaction goes.

also things like peacocking are less used today, so the afc's that have read the game are all stood in bars with fuzzy hats on with no clue as to how to use the peacocking to get a woman interested, watch the big bang theory and see wallowitz try peacocking and u will see what i mean.

hope this helps a bit. try and read more about natural game and u will understand more about what im talking about.

If you get "caught" its not the end of your game. Just try to be honest because there are people out there who will be able to tell your lying the moment you begin speaking.

Say something like:

"Wait whats that?" (with this one you must believe in your mind that your not lying to her, your asking her what it is so you can see what she knows about it) an alternative approach would be:

"Yeah, what do you know about the pick up arts? You trying to pick me up?"

or

"Yeah I've heard of it but I never read about it, what is it?"

or

"Yeah I've read about it but it never seemed to be for me, I just prefer to be myself"

or

"Yeah I've read about it. Its pretty fascinating actually, its basically a study of the social interaction between men and women. But I'm genuinely interested in you."

or

"Yeah I've studied it. I don't like a lot of it, but its helped me understand how to better express myself to the girls I like, like you" (if she had been giving many IOI's this would be a good way to transition into a k-close.

I'd say sometimes that the short answer is actually YES.

I purposely opened two sets with the canned routine of "my friend is trying to hook me up with her friend, she's cute and all but..." that were only an earshot apart just to test it. When the 2nd one heard, I got called out (of course, purposely), but ran well and humored the girls. I try to avoid the false time constraints because every damn routine has it. I do use body language to show "im on the move", which is more subtle. I've seen girls reading The Game at Borders and even opened them with "I've read that book too, do you think it works" and did my thing and then said "i guess it does" smiling at the number in my hand and she smiled.

It's not necessarily a bad thing to show that you are trying to be confident in an approach.

But I agree with the natural game, that's what I'm all about now. everyone is unique when running natural game.
