Post subject:  Is the Cube a downer?

I've used the Cube a few times, but i find the storm at the end to be something of a downer, especially when the girl is like "there's a fucking flood the whole sky is black and raining tar" etc.

The worst thing about it is that it comes at the end of the routine; it's the last thing you interpret. So if you don't transition out of it well, you have this lingering sort of negative vibe...

Is there any reason to include it (the storm) or can I just drop it from the routine?

If you drop it from the routine, the cube will become obvious as a routine.
Interprete it anyway, as negative as the interpretation can be. Use your interpretation as a neg, and tease the girl a little bit.

It's ok to touch on negative things, it is an indicator of disinterest which raises your value.

If the storm is apocalyptic, just tell her that her problems often dramatically affect her life. Then, move on.

What I like to do is start by interpreting the storm and the ladder first (the ladder can have some negative implications as well) and end with the cube. There's almost always a positive way to read the cube part of the exercise, and thus we end on a positive note.

Thanks guys, I get it now:

1 - Negative stuff in the cold reading is necessary to make the reading itself credible and
2 - Use the negative stuff to neg her

Solid.
