| Post subject: | Socially shy? |
Hey guys, i've been broswing/learning and such for about 3-4months now, i've made long strides and done well. and ive also had bad nights and felt really bad...My problem more or less seems to be lack of Social-possibilities, i'm currently in a community college, but have yet to really make any new friends/girlfriends, i've got a fairly large base of friends outside of college (non of which go to college with me) but i cant seem to make strides to get out of my own little bubble and talk with people at my school/go to parties with said people...I'm a fairly small guy, 5'9 120, i've been working out and trying to put on weight and working on innergame, but i feel somewhat intimidated by bigger guys and athelete types when around people/girls specifically. I feel good about my inner game until i'm put into these situations where when i feel if a girl were to compare me, and someone else, i'm not superior for whatever reason. I consider myself a fairly smart person majoring in Physics and I don't really get the chance to portray myself because of my possible misconceptions.... Is this just my inner game that needs work or what? I don't know what it is, but i feel confident, and then my confidence just take random dips for whatever reason, any help is appreciated, online links for inner-game or whatever you think would be best for me, thanks again. Sorry for long post ~Dueces |

what you are going through is what a lot of guys in your age group go through (including myself). I think it's important for you to know that you probably have a lot of qualities (whether you realize ir or not) that are definately desirable to some women. don't ever think that you have no worth.Sorry for long post ~Dueces there may very well be a girl out there just like you, and the two of you would be perfect for eachother. I suggest you get out more and get involved in more social situations. you can do this by joining a club, group, or getting involved in a sport or activity where you can meet lots of people. |

It's normal to feel uncomfortable. But if you just have fun and make new friends this feeling will disappear. If you are intimidated by bigger guys - befriend a big guy. You will see that in many cases they are actually really nice and friendly. Just focus on being comfortable with yourself and you will see a big improvement. |
