I have this pretty bad problem. First of all I'm 17 and in college. I like this girl and it's all good when it's just me and her alone, we talk and she laughts etc, etc. The problem arises when I see her amongst her group of friends. Suddenly I go all quiet and feel very undominant? They're all lively, active and bouncing around while I go all quiet and untalkative. What can I do to fix this problem and make sure I always stay aloud?

i think what you are experiencing is very common

its obviously a lot more intimidating and difficult to work a group rather than just one girl. However, you really do need to game the entire group in this situation. When you get shy and intimidated, the girls are rightfully not going to be interested in you. If you man up and rise to the occasion, subconsciously this will impress them and make them more interested in you.

try to get yourself into a more talkative state, and research tactics on being an alpha male.

you can definately overcome this, its just gonna take some work.

this is just out of the park, but you know, try to do variuos things. Get involved with a lot of things! Why you asked? Because, if you are involved in almost everything, you will have something in common with whatever conversation they have. I'm not saying to always butt in and say your opinion ( some people don't like that, like me personally) but at least you could have something to talk about when the time sets itself..

Just a thought!

try to change your mindset. this sounds like an inner game problem. most likely if you can make her laugh you can make her friends laugh because they should have somewhat of a similar sense of humor
