Hey there! I am in an open long distance LTR where I see my queen only every 3-6 months. In the meanwhile I want to let my FB live with me in my flat (like a flat share, so she also pays for rent, etc). Reason is that she is going to study in my city but lives 100s of kms far away. Are there some problems with that or would you do it too? TIA, Hawk |

Hawk: I would advise against this. In my experience, seeing someone all day, and having them live with you is a recipe for disaster. Also, introducing money into it (rent) makes things very un sexual. |

i would agree with RED on this, having her move in and money involes, take it to a diffrent level. When you get on each other nerves and have a fight Good by FB and good chances that she will tell your current G/F of what was going on and you'll be shit out of luck. FB are FB for a reason. |

Hawkin I hope you haven't been discussing her moving in with you as i suspect you have already. Unless your marrying this girl its a Bad idea I have buddy who stupidly let this girlfriend move in with him biggest single mistake of his life. He has no more freedom and talking to other women is completely out of the question. he's become a whipped trained puppy now. Plus she's not even your girlfriend just a FB what if she brings some other dude to your house or starts hanging out with other guys you'll be pissed off ready fight or kick her out your house. it also works in the reverse with you and other women. |

i'd say its fine, as long as your LDR knows about it. all the potential negative results can be controlled as long as you keep your wits about you. |

In my experience most FBs want more than what is available and effectively what you're saying is 'be my live in girlfriend'. Don't do it. |

Thank you for your answers! The situation is like this: My LDLTR knows about it and my FB said she's fine with my attitude to relationships (so that I love my LTR and only want the FB for sex). So I will not be cut in freedom if I let it happen I hope. I rather think of using her as a pivot when sarging! That's why I like the idea. Also my LTR visited me for the last 6 weeks and we lived together without any problems, that's why I am optimistic about this. With rent I mean we share the rent I already have to pay, that's another pro, only half the bill to pay... I also wouldn't care if she brings other guys or girls, from my point of view just good occasions for 3somes or making new friends It might be true that she wants more than being an FB though! I think I will have a talk with her and set a table of rules and compromises to agree before moving in... |

My advice is, don't let FB move in. That would complicate things by threatening your independence and putting money in the equation. What about if LDLTR comes to visit???? maybe she says she is cool with your FB, but wait till she stays with u again and watch the jealousy start I have always found one of the best things with FB is that there is no expectation... living together changes that (i.e. u will have to see her all the time) |

Getting passed that hump seems always really hard to me...? Thanks! P |
