Ok so I'm trying to implement the 3sec rule but, I get stumped. You see I come from a small country, so the majority of people within the social community know each other. This puts me back into the thought that Mystery said about tribal social upbringing. Now seeing as how when I hadn't even heard of PUA I used to pull the biggest AFC cliche's, I get nervous and I feel like these people that have seen me before and will see me later will already have a negative idea of me. How do you go around this problem? |

You just go in and do it. If they have a negative perception of you, change it. Stop making excuses and start doing what you need to do. Stay out of your own head and start being the man you want to be. |

Is there a particular pattern to follow opening sets that with people might have come across in the past? Coz you might be half way through the opener and they would say "you where that guy ...." and wotever the reason. Some of them actually try to make u embarrased and put you in an awkward position. How do you go around that? Say for instance u open a set, and one of the girls, generally the hottest one in there or the amog, would say "Hey I remember you! You used to run around with that footballer guy, ummm wot's his name right now .... ??" trying to make u remind him. |

If you've met before just be like "Oh, yeah!" and pretend you remember them or whatever. Just keep your cool man, if they put you in an awkward position and you stay calm and cool then you'll score points. I don't really do routines, so I can't help you with that. |

So would it be showing DHV if for instance I replied by saying: "When u remember let me know" and then u continue with the opener? |

I have been in a similar situation like this, although I was not using a routine - just wingin it, I ended up using it to my advantage. Just play through it, you have to adapt to an ever changing environment in this type of situation. You could use a neg if it is the your target, or turn it on them if they are the AMOG. Try looking into book called Natural Game. It comes from a group in Europe. They talk about something called virtual PU. Basicaly you can run through different situations, like this one, and come up with ways to neutralize it or gain from it. This is usually done after a flop when you blew the set, but with a little adjustment I am sure you could do it as a pre-game to psyc your self up and know what to expect. Just keep it realistic.
