Post subject:  Noob Ready to Learn (Vacations coming up!)

OK, I'm 16 years old and I just finished reading the Mystery Method. I loved the book and I found this forum and I hope to learn some good strategies in order to become a solid PUA.

I have never in my life made a cold approach on a girl. I've only made moves on girls who I knew or met through friends. I'm hoping I can change this.

I'm going on vacation in a week and a half to the beach. I'm sharing a condo with my parents (obviously not an advantage) but there's many things to do in the area. For the week I was going, I was going to drive down with my best friend who I wanted to use as my wing. This guy is a pro with the ladies, but he had prior commitments. My other options was my "lady friend" who I was going to use as a pawn (almost better than a wing.) It turns out her boy friend doesn't want her driving down with me which is understandable, but it sucks. Now I'm stuck hanging out with my cousin to wing me who has no confidence and absolutely no way with the ladies. How can I overcome this and make him a good wing?

We will be hitting up some clubs/restaurants and some concerts where I can make some moves, but is it ok to make some moves on the beach? Do you recommend any openers for the beach? Should I wait until the target is sitting or should I try to hit a moving target while they walk past?

I definitely feel more comfortable making a move at a concert than the beach, but I'm here to play a tight game so whatever works, works.

And finally, when you see a set that you want to open, would it be easier to move your group of friends next to them, and then make a short comment to one of the obstacles (not the target)? Then you can act non-challant and if the convo picks up, you can merge both sets? Would this send off a sense of fear? I'm a good talker, but for some reason I'm deathly afraid of making a long walk to a set and then getting rejected. I think its the actual walk thats the worst part for me.

Thanks for your assistance!

:D

For your questions about whether it would be okay to sarge on a beach; O'course it is. But I think it'd be more day-game than anything else, and I dont do much of that. Hmm..

I'd say that, if you're going to go for 'em when they're seated, kneel down so you're not intimidating when you enter. It'd also make it easier to integrate as you'd go from kneeling to sitting, rather than standing-sitting.

As for an opener? Opinion would work, but I can't think of any, I'm having a bad day for game. I suoppose a situational one would work too, if you can transition smoothly enough.

A moving target is harder to do than a seated one, but if you feel up to it, go for it.

I had the same problem; I'd spot the girls, leave my group of friends, and take a few seconds to walk over; problem is, I usually open with opinion openers and I'd just walked halfway across the club to get an opinion. My fix for this? Place your friend group near enough that it doesn't look odd to walk over to them, but not close enough that they could fuck up your game.

I'll write more when I can think.

EDIT: OH, and to make your friend a good wing? The best idea I can come up with, with the time constraint you've got, is to.. Probably just give him a crash course. First day, send him on a newbie mission in the morning, teach him one routine during the afternoon, then get him to sarge all night long. Do that everyday and he'll pick something up. It'll be like an extended workshop.
