| Post subject: | First Method to Learn? (Foreign Language Surroundings) |
Hey guys. This is my first post on the forums bar the introduction. I'll get straight to the point - I'm completely new to the PUA scene, and was wondering which method I should be picking up first. My plan is to start sarging next week to start getting some practice in. I live in Austria, but my comfort with the German language is nowhere near good enough to game in German, so I'll be (trying) gaming in English. Given that most girls here speak only limited English, I was wondering which method would benefit that situation best. I assume Ross Jeffries with NLP falls out since they wouldn't really be able to grasp the imagery etc. without fully understanding the language? Does anybody who's experienced with this stuff have any suggestions? Also, as a follow-up question, does anybody have experience with gaming in English in non-english-speaking countries and what the success rates are compared to english-speaking countries? Is it worth it? Or should I first garner enough comfort with the German language and attempt to game in German instead? Thanks in advance for the answers! |

Since this has slipped into the second page, still has no answers, and is a relatively urgent topic for me, Shameless self-bump! If anybody has any ideas at all please post, even if it's just speculation. So far I've decided I'll go for the Mystery Method first, but I need a second opinion. Perhaps natural game is better to start with considering the technology will have a lower effect due to language barriers? I don't know. In any case, HALP! :< |

PUAtraining's bootcamps often teach quite useful non verbal game, and also the structure of their emotional connecting is more open to interperatation for yourself. ZanPerrions stuff is good too. -D |

So you're saying natural is better than unnatural when it comes to having a language barrier, basically? |

Nah the thing is, English is practically my mother tongue, it's not the mother tongue of people around me. I'm more worried about reception of routines being bad, not my delivery. |

NLP is a tactic not a method. and its not Ross Jeffries material... It's might be one of his tactics but not material.... Just read The game and the forums Field reports... See how people succeed and try to learn. |

I've read The Game, but The Game isn't a method, it's an elaborate field report. And you can't learn nearly as effectively from a field report as from an actual manual. Also I'm well aware that NLP is not a method, I was just speculating that his method, due to focusing on NLP, wouldn't be effective. As for reading through field reports of others to see what works, because my circumstances are rather different from most peoples' here, as most people on this forum live in english surroundings, it wouldn't help me very much with the question I wanted to ask. So which method focuses most on non-verbal cues? I'd read through them all but I just don't have the time for that right now.

You should look more into it... My point is study what you can.... If you want a guide then there are books that are used as guides. |
