PUA Forum :: How to deal with Flaking?

I'm really new to the game and even newer here (my first post) and of course have a few questions. I've been learning the basics and notice that most of the time there is a prescribed reaction or routine for various circumstances eg: LMR is followed by freezing them out but my big question is this. What do I do if a girl flakes out on me? This has happened to me and I always feel everything I've read leaves me defenseless to combat this. There could be girls who tell me to call them so we could hang out or get something to eat when I come to town but then when I actually do they flake for some reason (work etc.). Or another more specific situation where I'm trying to hang out with a HB and get the notes from her at the same time(I'm a junior in college) but every time I ask her what she's doing on said day she's says a maybe.

I let them go. It takes less time (and is more fun) to go out in the field and get a new number, one that hopefully doesnt flake.

Im with Ezo on this forget about her, also I would never aim for a number. Its like the old saying "Aim for the moon settle for the stars", aim for a same night lay or kiss close then by going through the motions of that and hopefully achieving them then you will have built enough attraction to avoid flaking.

Im with everyone else on this post. Just forget about the ones that have flaked so far. To deal with future girls and to help prevent flakes start already having a date planned. Dont have it planned to the t where if something dosent go to plan you freak out but i suggest going out somewhere by yourself for awhile that you would like to take a girl to for a date. When out become accustomed to how everything works around that place get to know the regulars and get to know everyone. Then when you get the girl to the point your about to ask her out on a date work the place into the conversation. That way the date is more solid. this is better than saying " hey we should hangout sometime" or "hey what are you doing saturday, do you wanna hangout?" When things like this are said to plan a date you havent really given a reason for the girl to hangout. At the moment she may say yes because you are a fun dude, but then when the day rolls around to hangout she will be thinking " why should i go out? all were doing is hanging out no big deal if i just blow him off." If you have a more concrete place and what you plan on doing she has more of a reason to go with you. Now when on the date This is when the reasearching the place i was talking about earlier comes in handy, because when you walk in and you know exactly what to do, whats fun, everyone seems to know you and you are cool, calm, and confident you look that much better to the girl also the date will go just that much smoother. which will help you later if you ever want to continue on with her for a day 3 or 4 hope this helped cheers -hatch p.s. i suggest for a day 2 pick something FUN and out of the ordinary such as target, chuck-e-cheeses, grocery stores, pottery classes, dancing classes, parks, thrift stores, etc.

Thanks all. So What I'm taking from this is there is no secret weapon or bounce back recovery from flaking. It just means that I didn't do my job right the first time and to prevent it I should just game better. I guess that's the best answer, just not the one I wanted to hear : P

I guess that's the best answer, just not the one I wanted to hear : P Pretty much The mistake that a lot of guys make is 1)Giving the girl crap for flaking....because somehow it makes them look "alpha" and shows that they aren't the "nice guy" who will put up with shit. 2)Continue to ask her out...which makes them look needy. The best thing to do is to forget about it. If you end up running into her again (awhile later) then you can invite her to a place where you are already planning on going to. Whatever you do don't bring up her flaking.

Help? thanks! Don't bring it up. Act as if nothing happened. And to prevent flaking try setting up the Day2 before/while you get her phone number, that way you prevent the whole annoying phone-tag scenario. Also the BEST way to prevent flaking is........... To not get into that scenario in the first place! Push as far as you can when you meet her and take a phone number ONLY when you absolutely cannot do anything logistically, and this will save you the most time of all and get you the most action.
