Post subject:  can someone help me start off?
Im new to the game, and i was wondering if you guys could help me out here cause im gonna go out tomorrow and give it a shot.

Im not really a funny, sociable, or exciting guy. and when i try to do something funny, it just makes things worse. and my mono tone voice isn't a major help either. im 15, NEVER had a GF, sad aint it? :( but i DO know some hot girls that used to like me, but i blew it cause i would never approach them and didn't know what to do.

so can you guys help me get started with the basics? maybe a small guide or something, anything will do. maybe some pointers on what to do if your not all that funny.

Watch videos of good stand-up comics, a LOT. Eventually, your attitude at times will somewhat mimic them and you'll also learn good body language and vocal variation.

Basically, for starters, just APPROACH APPROACH APPROACH!!!

thanks for that, im gonna try to approach tomorrow, hopefully it wont be as bad as i think it will.

as for watching comedy, i do that all the time, just doesn't soak in, so i guess im a lost hope on that.

i just hope i don't need to be funny to get the girls

You're young. A Sophomore in HS I'm assuming?

Well, anyway. A good way to jump into the game is so start building yourself a good outer appearance. This counts a LOT in High School. First impressions will mean a lot when meeting new chicks. Not only that, but you're going to need to build social value. Everyone knows everyone some way or another in High School.

Your first goal should be to becoming more Alpha. Practice being more whitty and upgrading your remarks/jokes, and gain some confidence. Confidence is deff. a major point when starting out, as it'll give you the will power to learn more and more as you advance. If you can feel confident when approaching a group of girls, you wont be as nervous and you'll definitely see an improvement in your conversational skills with them. When you approach, you just have to have that "so what" attitude. You aren't needy, you don't NEED these girls. If they deny you, it's their loss.

Just keep in mind, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You wont become a pick up artist over night, so expect to get shut down often in the beginning. As long as you learn from your mistakes and adjust your game accordingly, you'll do fine.

Dude, take it easy on yourself. Seriously . . . how many "players" do you know who are 15 years old? Come on man . . ,

Secondly, Go with your strengths. If you're a natural monotone guy, just flow with it. You can add a "bit" more to it but don't try to reinvent yourself. I often do the monotone thing in clubs just to be an "idiot" and have fun with it.

I go LOUDLY, (monotone) something like, "NOW! It.... is... time .... for .... magic." . . . "You will be mystified, nay, stupefied with this demonstration of black magic . . ."

Girls . . "WTF!?!?"

"Perhaps you are too young. You're not ready . . . " Just on and on and on

I remember spending like 3 to 4 hours with one girl few months back, making out, and at the taxi stand her asking me, "Do you really talk like that???"
