| Post subject: | Golden Rules of a PUA |
Hey guys, This may be a good topic to eventually sticky, but i've been thinking about something. Within the Mystery Method, Double your dating and all of those pickup methods, there are many different methods to learn, routines etc. Its all very cumbersome to learn and can lead to spacing on a portion of the routine. Not that its not a necessity, but I think something that might help, especially us noobies, is to start a list of rules and things to always remember during a pickup, or even when one is in a relationship. This can be as simple as, " Make her pursue you, not the other way around", or "Never approach from behind". I'm farely new to the game, but I know when i'm sarging sometimes you forget a portion of the entire method(in my case the MM). So, if I know some basic rules that I should try to follow, if I need to wing it, you know, fly by the seat of your pants, you have something to go off of that can make it easier for you to read her signs and react to them. Anyways, let me know what you guys think, and maybe throw some quick tips in there Anyone think this is a good idea? |

Heh, sadly there's no such thing as a universal rule of PUA. In fact, one of the ones you mention, "never approach from behind", isn't really a necessary rule. Approaching from behind is fine, as long as you do it right. The only real 'golden rule of PUA' that I thinkt here should be is the Campsite Rule. It should apply to PU, dating and anything else you do. "Leave them better than you found them." A lot of the 'rules' you find are mostly just dogma perpetuated by the gurus. Each one claims to offer their own 'perfect method' which will solve all your problems, but they often just offer much more dogma of their own. You'll need to slog through the dogma to find the gems of ACTUAL knowledge. How do you do that? Feild Test Everything. The best thing to do is use routines as a fall-back, only to fill lulls in the conversation while your head searches for other things to talk about. Too many routines and you start to sound robotic, and you have a much higher chance of getting thrown off by an unexpected response. If there are any 'rules' for how to suceed I'd think they are this: Leave them better than you found them Field test everything, reject what doesn't work for you Don't rely solely on routines, relax a bit But that's just my quick, female opinion on something.
