Not in a negative way but she noticed my sensory acuity. She told me that she noticed that I remembered everything she said b/c I was really paying attention and that I could read her very well. She got turned on by it and said she had to be sure to watch what she said around me. Now my question is this...I dont really buy into the NLP seduction stuff. To be honest I mainly got interested in it to help myself become a better communicator in all situations. I also like the way it helps to improve your inner game. I believe Rye touched on a lot of this in a posting about AE (approach excitement). Ross Jeffries does cover some of this and if you take a lot of his seduction stuff with a grain of salt you can really get to the core of what he is preaching. However, I have been studying some of the old Bandler and Grinder stuff from when NLP was first developed. And it has had a remarkable impact on all areas of my life. I recently read an older book by Bandler entitled 'Using your Brain'. This has got to be hands down one of the best books. I suggest everyone read it. Now, having said all of that, I have passed that book along to several people including the girl that called me out the other night. NLP is a wonderful tool and if everyone knew more about it and the power of language, the world would be a much better place. Anyone that is familiar with NLP knows what Im talking about. So in summary, I guess my point is this...pickup is a great thing, but I think that a lot of people see it as a devious way to 'trick' women into liking you. There have been a lot of posts around here lately about the lack of importance of routines and such. And more of a focus on inner game. That being said, I think it is great to provide these tools to anyone, man or woman. If the man or woman you are hanging with can communicate better, wouldnt that make things easier for all of us? I agree with you man, I started reading NLP books about a year ago and I discovered the many benefits of it. Actually ever since, my friends have started to come up to me for important advice, they say that I reason well. I don't think it's strange, NLP makes you think straight, and it makes you more honest, and if everyone knew this stuff I also think that the world would be a better place. However, you can't deny the good feeling in knowing NLP when you are sarging and you know the secrets in how to "click" with anyone you meet and how to really build great rapport. It's a huge advantage and I like it. |

Awesome! I've been trying to get people to understand the importance of studying NLP to enhance communication ever since I started looking into it myself. I really dislike the SS NLP seduction techniques, but using it for what it was originally intended is incredibly powerful and will REALLY boost your game, as well as make you more socially apt and a better person in general. I HIGHLY recommend reading Introducing NLP by Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour. Awaken The Giant Within by Anthony Robbins also has a lot of good information on NLP and practical uses of it in your life to improve inner game and other things. |
