Sorry to say it, but this reeks of AFC, dude. Everyone and their mother can tell that you didn't really win 2 free tix to a movie and you just want to go out with her. Don't feel bad, let's see where you went wrong, and please forgive me if i come off a bit too frank, but this is the only way you'll learn what not to do, so that next time you'll be a pro "I remembered you like terror movies" - You're just showing too much attraction right off the bat. Don't bring up the little stuff about women before the first date. It's perfectly fine, and even charming afterwards, because there is mutual attraction. "Do you wanna join me Monday or Tuesday" - What she's really hearing is 'I am doing absolutely nothing Monday, Tuesday and probably for the rest of the week. Please save me from my boring life.' You could have a very exciting life, but if you come off like this, women will assume the worst. Women want to be excited. You're better off saying "I've gotta go shopping for my niece Saturday afternoon, why don't you come along and give me a woman's perspective." "I'll call another person." will only work if she has a baseline attraction to you. It seem as if you haven't built attraction w/ her. Also, when she turns you down, don't reward her with a smily face, just leave it - she needs a little punishment now. "I have to spend these tickets before I lose them" seems like a last attempt at begging: "Please, Pretty please go out with me!!??" Read the Venutian Arts Handbook or Magic Bullets |

Now I see! Thank you for the answer! I'll read this book, and I think next time I'll do a little better. |

I actually thought you did alright. The part about "I remember you liked horror movies", did project a little too much interest, but other than that I think you did alright. Quote: "I have to spend these tickets before I lose them"
I liked the fact that you didn't get upset when she said she couldn't go, and I liked that you didn't try to reschedule to fit her schedule. I think that you showed her that you are a busy man and that she has to fit into your schedule and not the other way around. And that you have other options in your life by saying "I'll invite another person".Quote: don't reward her with a smily face, just leave it - she needs a little punishment now.
I thought the smiley face was a good touch because it showed you weren't affected by her saying no. If you had been mad or suddenly cold, you would seem weak in her eyes because you could handle a simple no. kudos on being strong and handling it like a man.You seem like a strong person who is naturally direct. I suggest you read Double your Dating by David Deangelo or Juggler's Method by Wayne Elise(charisma arts). They are direct methods which I think will suit you more. |

Thanks for the answer again! I just finished reading The Venusian Art Handbook and it's an amazing book. Now I understand when to neg, DHV, what are IOI's, etc. I'll take a look in the other book suggestions. |
