Post subject:  Intro & Basic Questions

Hey guys,

So first off, the formatting for this forum is messed up, seems like the overwrite is stuck on. Anyways, I'm in college and my main problem is a lack of experience(damn all boys school). So I'm vaguely familiar with the PUA community (terms and what not), thought i'd join the forum and introduce myself.

Here is a recent experience:

So I notice a cute girl waiting for the same bus as me, so we start talking (I don't know anything about openers or anything, but I can always think of something witty to say). We're getting along and everything (well she waved me down to sit next to her). However, I don't know how to go from making light conversation to asking for her number. Hell in general, talking to strangers is easy (solo, still working out how to approach groups), but I don't know how to seg-way into talking about hanging out another time.

I don't need a general response like "just ask for her #", I mean I'd like word-for-word examples.

Again, my main problem is a huge lack in experience, rather than a huge fear of rejection.

Thanks guys, hope to post on this forum alot in the future.

i would just be like "your not to bad of a chick, its a shame that this conversation has to end. Any ideas how we could keep in touch??" with a sly grin. hopefully she will give you her number or at least an email address. You could also ask her (if the conversation is going great and she's giving you IOI's and you know she takes this bus a lot) that she should give you her number and one day before the bus you guys could meet up for coffee or something.

Hand her your phone. "Here, punch your number in."

-or-

Take out your phone. "Hey, what's your number?"

You don't need to be indirect or cutesy about this. Getting the girl's number is not a big deal. Treat it as such.

Hey, two good examples. I'll keep that in mind. Although I can't say I'd use the "you're not too bad of a chick" line just yet. I'll let you guys know if I ended up closing well.
